Good news for the Legian Line – we’ve added another bus stop in a super convenient location!
The Ground Zero Monument bus stop is located on bustling Jl. Legian, in the heart of downtown Legian.
Ground Zero was built as a memorial to the lives lost in the horrific Bali bombings in 2002. It’s now a popular landmark in Legian that is visited by many tourists who come to pay their respects.
Located on Jl. Legian, the bus stop is within walking distance of dozens of nighclubs and bars, surf outlets, minimarts and restaurants.
There is no bus stop sign, however the bus stops right next to the monument – just look out for our bright green and yellow buses!
The area is most well-known for its vibrant nightlife, and almost every night (with the exception of Nyepi) you can find young locals and tourists from around the world having a good time at the many bars and clubs along the strip.
Kuta Beach is about 15 – 20 minutes’ walk from Ground Zero Monument via the popular Poppies lanes, where there is also heaps of affordable backpacker accommodation.
Beachwalk shopping center is located directly opposite Kuta Beach and is also within walking distance, or take the Kuta Line or Seminyak Line which stops at Beachwalk itself.
From Ground Zero Monument the bus continues to the popular water park, Waterbom, and the new Lippo Mall Kuta in south Kuta. It then stops at Aston Kuta on Jl. Wana Segara before returning to the DFS Bus Bay at DFS Galleria.
The fare for the Legian Line is just Rp. 20,000. For more details on the type of tickets available, please visit our Ticket Info page.
