We have an exciting update for those who have been waiting patiently for news about Kura-Kura Bus in Nusa Dua. We’re happy to announce that the Nusa Dua Line is now open! There are two bus stops along this line, both ideal for shopping and relaxing on the beach.
The line begins at our hub, located at DFS Bus Bay in Kuta. This is where all bus lines (excl. Seminyak Line) connect. From DFS Bus Bay, the bus continues along Jl. ByPass Ngurah Rai to the premier resort area of Nusa Dua.
The bus enters the BTDC gated complex and first stops at Grand Hyatt hotel. You can get off here for shopping at Bali Collection (just five minutes’ walk away) or for the Nusa Dua Theater which is located next door.
The next stop along the Nusa Dua Line is at The Bay Bali, where de Opera Beach Club is just one of the popular tenants. There’s also Bebek Bengil where you can enjoy local Indonesian dishes, and Gyu Kaku for Japanese barbeque cuisine.
Not forgetting the kids, The Pirate Bay is the perfect place to bring the little ones to play on the pirate ship and take part in a host of fun activities.
Nusa Dua Line Bus
For the Nusa Dua Line, we will be using a 15-seater silver bus (not the usual green & yellow “turtle” buses that you’re used to seeing).
The bus will depart from DFS Bus Bay in Kuta and travel south to Nusa Dua. At Grand Hyatt, our Ticket Crew will come to the hotel’s lobby to escort passengers to the bus, and at The Bay Bali the bus will stop in front of the Ocean Walk pathway, at the Kura-Kura bus stop sign.
Fare
The fare for the Nusa Dua Line is Rp. 50,000 and you can use a Kura-Kura Coin for a single trip or a Day Pass or Value Card for multiple journeys. See our Ticket Info page for more details.
Children younger than two years of age and using the same seat as their parent also get to travel for free!
