As the year draws to a close the island of Bali gets even busier, with both domestic and foreign visitors arriving to celebrate the new year. It’s an already popular time as many families are visiting over the Christmas school break.
An increase in tourists is noticeable by the increase in traffic on the roads, and it can sometimes take a lot longer than usual to get to where you’re going.
On New Years Eve itself it’s almost impossible to get through the traffic. In fact, the area around bustling Kuta is closed in the afternoon and for this reason Kura-Kura Bus will not be operating on 31 December 2014.
All bus lines will not run on the 31st; we will however resume service as normal on 1 January 2015.
New Years Eve is a time of celebration to be spent with family and friends. Have fun and stay safe, and we’ll be seeing you on the road again in 2015!
