Sorry, this entry is only available in English.

Not visiting Uluwatu for the first time in Bali is something you will regret. If you have visited Uluwatu, we are sure that you will spend time here every time I return to Bali. To find out what I like about this area, check out our list of key activities below. We hope to inspire you to visit because we know you will like it the same as us!

Start your day with Healthy Breakfast at Nalu Bowls Uluwatu

Smoothie Bowl and Bali are the same things in common, aren’t they? They are the best enjoyed in the summer season. One, if not the best, place to get a smoothie bowl is at Nalu Bowls. There are locations in Canggu and Seminyak too, but we’d recommend heading there for breakfast in Uluwatu. We are not sure if it’s a coincidence, but their go-to smoothie bowl is called ‘Uluwatu’ itself!

Top up your tan at Balangan Beach

Balangan Beach (Pantai Balangan) in Uluwatu is one of the most picturesque beaches in Bali and it’s easy to see why! Balangan became quite popular when a photo taken on the cliffs went viral on Instagram and it is now one of the most visited beaches.

Head up the cliff to get an epic view over the beach and out into the Indian ocean. Photos taken from up here are sure to make your friends jealous on Instagram. If you do a little more exploring from this point you may even find the small cave temple.

Explore The Caves at Suluban Beach

Suluban Beach, also known as Blue Point Uluwatu and Pantai Suluban, is a spectacular beach that can be found in the Bukit Peninsula in South Bali! Suluban Beach is world-renowned for its left-hand point break that is very popular among surfers, but there are plenty more fantastic things to do at Pantai Suluban other than surfing!

Chasing the sunset at Single Fin Uluwatu

Not only is Suluban Beach one of the top things to do in Uluwatu, but a sunset beer at Single Fin Uluwatu is also a MUST. Every day of the week Single Fin Uluwatu offers beers, snacks, live music and the best views overlooking the Indian Ocean. Single Fin Bar is best renowned for its famed ‘Sunday Sessions’ on the top of Uluwatu Cliff where resident and international DJs play hourly long live sets. It has people flocking to down Uluwatu Beach from all around the world just to experience a Sunday session at Single Fin. Single Fin Uluwatu is by far my favorite spot to watch the sunset on the Bukit Penisula Bali, though you have to get there early as it gets super crowded and it’s hard to find a seat.

Watch The Fire Dance at Uluwatu Temple

Arguably the best-known landmark in the area. Yup, that is Uluwatu Temple! It’s a temple, located on the edge of a very high cliff. It’s a beautiful landmark with a rich cultural history. It has a great view and every night there’s a traditional performance of the Balinese Kecak fire dance. There are other places to watch the fire dance, but the Uluwatu temple is known as the best! Don’t forget to visit this temple at 5 PM!
