With a donation of your choice, you can own a turtle and help it back into the water. The turtle hatchery helps protect turtle eggs before releasing them into the wild. The turtle hatching season takes place April to October and you can help out after 4pm.

The main reason to come to Legian Beach is down to the fact that it is less crowded and the sand here is a little cleaner. If you want to get away from the crowds that flock to Kuta Beach then this is a good choice although it doesn’t have as many amenities as the main strip.
